Black Hills Bluegrass Festival

Friday: The Annual Black Hills Bluegrass Festival
opens with the popular First Night Performer’s Concert on Friday evening. Come out and get a taste of what's
in store for the weekend and help us give a South Dakota warm welcome to the Bluegrass Performers!
Super Saturday: Breakfast will be available for
purchase starting at 8:00am in the Concession Building. Whether seasoned, novice, or budding musician, you'll want
to take advantage of the opportunity to learn from the pros and hone music skills during the Black Hills
Bluegrass Workshops hosted by Festival performers on Saturday morning from 9am-12pm.
A Kids Bluegrass Workshop is held from 9-11am on the green - all ages and levels
welcome. Workshops are free, but kids should bring their instruments and be accompanied by one adult ticket
holder of the festival.
Lunch Break: 12:00 - 1:30pm. Food is available for purchase in the Concession
Building.
Saturday afternoon performances begin at 1:30pm on the Black Hills
Bluegrass Stage and continue until 5:20pm. Children's activities will be held in the Kid's Tent throughout the
afternoon. Vendors and craft demos will be available throughout the day.
Dinner Break: 5:20 - 6:30pm. Food available for purchase in the Concession
Building.
The Saturday Night Main Stage Show from 6:30 - 10:20pm rounds out a spectacular
day in the hills. This show is always full of high energy and great music. Open Jam Sessions take place
throughout the campground.
Sunday: Make sure you plan to see the awe-inspiring
Sunday Gospel Music Show in the unmatched beauty of the Black Hills from 10:00-12:00 at the Black Hills Bluegrass
Stage. This is a must-see performance in the cathedral of pines (no admission, free-will offering).
