The BLACK HILLS BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL is celebrating its 31st ANNIVERSARY this year!!!  Since the first festival in 1981, we have had a variety of homes, and this year we are celebrating our 2nd year at the ELKVIEW CAMPGROUND (www.elkviewcampground.com).  The campground is located 5 minutes from Sturgis at Pleasant Valley exit 37 off of Interstate 90.

Elkview Campground offers many full hookup campsites, tent camping, and unlimited parking in close proximity to the concert area.  The two shower houses have flush toilets, and are located near the concert area.  There is also a 4300 sq ft building on site where food and beverages will be available (no alcohol).  On Saturday and Sunday mornings, make your way to the building for a great beakfast of biscuits and gravy. We will also be able to use the building in case of inclement weather, so don't let bad weather worry you.  The show goes on, RAIN OR SHINE.

We also plan to have more activites for kids this year.  Besides the music workshops, there will be an inflatable playhouse with jumping, slide, and climbing wall.  There will also be face painting, crafts, and more.  The Festival is a family event so we will be providing something for everyone.

Make your Festival reservations early - then come on Wednesday or Thursday and get a great start on the weekend.  Jamming will be encouraged and we know you will have a great time getting together with old and new friends.
